Researchers at Arizona State University have found that consuming a blend of refined corn flour and corn bran can significantly lower LDL cholesterol levels.

The results showed that the blend of refined corn meal and corn bran was the most effective in lowering LDL cholesterol, with 70% of participants experiencing a reduction in their levels.
